It's almost the end of the year..

Had a fun time on Xmas eve, got my bonus before xmas.. and I just got my pay slip today.. all's well for the 2nd part of the year.. Im still surviving.. hopefully the sky wil turn even brighter for me on 2008..

The Worst Nite of My Life

I found out that I lost 28 thumbdrives last nite.. which cost more than 400 bucks..f#@%!!

Im seriously hoping for a miracle or a winning in TOTO!!

Chalet & good food!

Went to ECP for chalet last week.. Really had fun thou I only stayed 1 nite. It was wif my sec school.. We played cards and had bbq.. Had stingray, it was so shiok with the sambal chilli.. And I won over 10 bucks from blackjack, haha..

Had wan dou sek on fri before the bbq, as you see it's no wonder the health check at my coy show thati have 35.1% body fat!!

Ytd went to botak jones at clementi, the food was not bad..but not wat i expected. the fries were pretty good thou, with e chilli powder..

Wonder whr i shd go n eat today..hmm..

Where's my holiday?

Im kinda miss long hoildays.. like a long weekend. Basically, im the one who envies others when this happens, cos i work on saturdays.. It's really sad cos even my boy oso had to work on sat thou his is a 5 day work week. So,he's worki FOC cos got no OT moni..

Had a great holiday last week on thurs..ate katong laksa at east coast den went cycling at ECP. me and my boy rode the double bicycle..it was so tiring.. for him la.. i din paddle much until later when my boy felt really wobbly.. It was fun.. i wonder when we will do this again.. took some pics..might update at a later time.

Jus ytd, something made me a lit annoyed.. my boy went to botak jones wif his cousins, den met up wif his frens at e same plc.. he knew i like to try new food but he kept quiet abt it thou he knew i knock off ard that.. he jus didnt think of calling me,, duh.. gonna talk abt it wif him when i meet up wif him on sat..haiz.. time is really precious and i seem to nt haf enuf time to do things..

Now looking forward to the chalet on sat..wonder if we are playing mj or not.. gonna ask if they need me to bring a set of tiles..hehe..

Haa!! U mus be thinking I'm having the best time in my life..or jus went clubbing dressed as a witch or something.. Nope, i had dinner by myself and nw im typing this entry alone.. how pathetic rite?

My boy is out wif his frens..and they mus be having a great time which is pissing me a little right now.. there mus be a lot of pretty ladies out there for them to watch..haizz.. but i dun really want to restrict him from gg out cos he neva does dat to me..

Anyways, i feel like im trapped at e bootleneck, need to recharge myself but cant find the time to go for vacation.. Things are pretty busy rite now, in away..im a lil scared i cant coordinate everything well.. hopefully, things will turn better tmr...

Updates: Jus went cathay at handy road to watch Halloween last sat (I hate this festival).. the show is ok, jus ok only la.. lots of blood scene but not really gory if i must say.. Oh, and i had bak kut teh opp Central..it was previously a coffeeshop called 'Xin Shi Jie" New World cafe..the owner decided to take a break i heard..and i only ate there once wif my Uni frens..duh...

Yeah, tmr it's holiday!!

I know i sound silly getting excited over a public holiday which falls on a saturday..but u cant blame me rite? I do WORK on saturdays... so I earn a free half day.. but hey, my boy had off in-lieu on Monday...damn..imagine everyone sleepiong at home on Monday but i still need to drag myself to work..anyways, today i broke my record of doing OT till 6.45pm..Hey i know, it may not be very late but i dun get paid for OT ok?

Jus to update wat happened, went to Old Changi Hospital the week before.. it's a first for me to venture on an eerie adventure trip.. we went to eat at tian wai tian , den pasir ris rto watch bapok den head to OCH.. damn, we took e whole nite to do jus tis 4 things.. by e time we rch hm, it like 6 in the morning.. Seriously, i think OCH is not as scary as i tot, but one of us in the group was so scared until she was gripping her cousin's hand so hard dat i suspect he had a cramp afterwards..overall, it was not very satisfying.. i'm waiting for another trip to red hse, or white hse..heard dat its pretty eerie there too..

Well, dats e most interesting stuff i had done for e past few weeks.. except watch the movie: superdog wif my boy n lil isacc..nothing much loh..

Oh, and it's confirmed..i'm going dubai for a business trip..haha, ever heard of anyone gg to dubai for business..neva rite? haha, but i'm gg loh..hopefully, i will gain some exposure over there...

Can I slack at home tmr?

This is the question burning at e back of my mind.. my back is aching as im typing rite now.. after effects of a white collar working person.. Nw downloading videos n waiting for them to complete d/l.. U know people are always contradicting themselves.. im one of them.. wanna rest but cant..cos dat will mean no $$$..

hAIZZ. SO MANY THINGS WIC I WANNA SAY BUT CANT SAY IT OUTRIGHT..perhaps there's neva privacy on the Net..unless you write it in a notebook and lock it..haha..

Been doin e usual stuff at work.. slowly learning the pdts and wat they mean.. there's like over a hundred kinds of pdts and it's amazing my supervisor can remember them.. but then, she has been on e job soon after e coy started, tink dats in 1990..(oops, im only 9 yrs old dat yr!!) I actually like e environment at my workplace.. but the pay is really low for me.. i mean i spend so much moni to study.. shnt i get a better paid job? im seriously thinkin of changing job but i know i wont be as happy as working in my current workplace.. Wat shd i do??

Well, im feeling bloody old now..(my stupid back is aching again..wonder how long i can tahan this..)jus turned 26 last mth and im feeling depressed abt it only..i haf frens who are only 24!! and my colleagues are younger than me.. yikes, im no longer the xiao mei anymore.. thou i look like one..Help!!

A lot of things haf been happnenin to relatives of my bf.. his cousin aka godsis jus quitted her job (her tolerance level wif e boss has hit ceiling high!!) And the other one is a scandal wic i dun tink i shd put it out online..

I need a break... and go overseas.. but no moni.. need to save them for the future... SOmeone save me..

Im getting fat!!

Seriously, i think im getting fat! Been eating good food this past 1 week plus.. Had seafood, stingray sambal n claypot rice at clementi on last tues.. went to expo for e halal food fair (went there by mistake). Then fri we went to the World Food Fair at suntec, had ma la fishball meehoon, satay n meat sticks..n kong ba bao n got curry carb falour too..had some drinks at my bf hse cos it was e bro's bday..drink drink much compared to e prev weekend.. den play mahjong..

Den tonite went to taman jurong to eat seafood (again!!) Went wif my boy n his relatives..overall, nt too bad la.. nw looking forward to eat e fish steamboat at potong pasir,hee...it's quite famous but my boy jus ate it e first time last week.. haha..i ate like when i was 10 lor!!

DVD marathon!!

Finally, rush thru Death Note 1 and 2:) My sis managed to borrow from her fren and i get to watch it, haha!! Watch Death Note 1 in two consecutive nites but managed to watch DN 2 in 1 nite.. I like the movie version, cos there's a diff ending. I din expect dat.. but thou the comic's emding would be far too lengthy and draggy for a movie. The 2nd DN was abt 146 min!! Damn bloody long leh!

Anyways, at least i feel i did something meaningful tis week..did nothing much during work..makes it so tough to pass time..arghh!

Daily ramblings..

It was a pretty boring (& rainy!!) week so far.. but im gona be in my lonely office room for tis week cos my supervisor is on leave.. Her dad passed away ytd.. due to some elderly illness..heard dat he was pretty violent, throwing things all e time, tink he mus not be feeling very well all that time..

Luckily my supervisor took half day leave to see the dad, it was e last time n she was mentally prepared. In a way, she still get to see e dad one last time.. unlike my boy's case.. he din get to do dat when his dad passed away..hiazz..

So it's gona be a long and boring week ahead..hopefully, everything will be smooth for e wk..oh, waiting for e balloting result from hdb, bless me!!

Wat a week!!

It's yet another busy week... but before i go on, jus wana update wat i did on my birthday tis yr.. it wasn't really a good day cos i jus recovered from a flu and cough.. Had diarheoa for 2 consecutive days (after gg to a wedding on sat, i kept gg to the toilet on sunday.) Den i went to Brewerkz for lunch, it was pretty hot so me and my boy chose to dine indoors. But halfway eating, i went to e toilet twice.. Damn.. so suay, din really enjoy my lunch, sadzz...

den we went aljunied to read magazines n comics b4 headin to e airport as my boy's cousin coming back fr shanghai.Had ice cream at swensen's while waiting for plane to touch down.. heard from him dat SH is a blast, he actually put on weight there!! Think he ate too much xiao long bao, ha! As u see, it was really hectic... i barely had time to rest n relax..

I realise working doesn't allow me to do a lot of things.. always tired at e end of e day.. sometimes i wana watch a tv series but really too tired to tahan le.. By sat, im so shagged but still drag myself to go out n haf lunch wif my frens.. got my bday pressie from dem.. it's a gift from hong kong, a display dat allows me to hang my earrings on it:) I really like it.

This week went by pretty fast..kinda rushing to do my stuff, not sure if i haf anything to rush next wk.. time pass faster when im busy n i hope nest wont be drag at work.. Had a fulfilling weekend, had dim sum at geylang wif Jas and rick n watch ratatouille at The Cathay, quite meaning show i mus say.. totally enjoyed it:)

At nite, we had dinnet at bt panjang n joined my boy's cousins for a chat.. cant believehow e conversation lead to porn videos... hurhur, in e end i realise every1 watch dem online n im e only one whos hasn't!! (ok, dat NYP video doesnt count, think every1 has watched dat!!)They mention all sorts of videos n i was grossed out.. the contents are too extreme and x-rated!! Went to a Malay wedding today, 2nd one this mth, 1 more in sep!! I realised spore's weddin is really typical.. be it chinese or other race..hopefully, my future weddin will haf some special things to watch..mus think,mus think.. Wow, dats e update for e week..i tink wrote too much in tis entry but its for 1 week mah.. haha..

A busy life...

LIfe has been pretty busy these 2 weeks.. jus started work at a company,and im getting adjusted to my new 'workin' lifestyle.. miss the days where i can wake up late every morning n not rushing anywhere.. but life's life if not, eat air everyday meh?

Went to a wedding last week, receive someone from shanghai at e airport, fren's birthdays.. so much much has happened and i jus hope dat everything will be smooth sailing for everyine..

Not in a good mood, jus spoiled by someone.. haizz. wat a way to end the weekend..

Can it get any worse?

I'm so fuming mad jus nw dat i cried.. i cant even reali taste e McChicken in my mouth.. I kept on chewing until i hope dat i jus choke to death..

How can ppl jus assume and judge a person's character superficially? Even when valid reasons are given, they jus felt dat it's just reasons to push e blame away.. Or maybe dat's how e world goes.. so cold and assuming!! I really hate it!!

She's e first one in our grp to get married so it was pretty funny n interesting at e same.. fancy eating a weddin dinner but it's nt ur relative but a fren!! quite surreal lo..hah..

Life.. can be sad n beautiful at the same time

Im now in a very sad mood.. jus finish watchin an episode of a HK series.. it was damn touching n sad at e same time.. so real, so captivatin is the plot dat i cried.. i was a lil affected by e show.. at how humans can love each other but hurt each other also.. kinship is like a ship braving thru storms n bright sunny days.. so many ups n downs..

I always feel sad when someone i know has left us.. as we all grow older, this feeling will always exist.. how many times do we haf to go thru this.. its really tiring n all we can do is to look forward n keep those memories of those dear ppl in our hearts.. of cos, we need to create happiness n we can only achieve dat thru ourselves.. one may feel like giving up at times but since we r given this chance to breathe on this earth, i tink we shld try to live everyday happily..for our families n frens n oso for ourselves..:)

Now, im trying to look forward to a wedding tis sat, 07.07.2007, whom my longtime fren is getting married. The 1st person in my grp of frens to get married, im happy n envious at e same time.. hopefully, i can achieve my own happiness soon too!! May everyone who chance upon my blog be happy everyday!!

Happy Birthday Dear!!

Celebrated on sat, 16th June, for my Dear's birthday.. He managed to get almost all his cousins for e celebration.. I wanted to do a surprise party for him initially but it was quite impossible cos i dun haf all his cousin's contacts n he had a dinner celebration for father's day (for his grandpa) during the evening.

But it so happened dat his maternal cousins, YL and YH was around too n after much consideration fr e parents, they managed to come 4 e party but wif e maid oso.. haha, like those "Da Xiao Jie" got ppl protecting dem like dat.. but they were very sweet, esp e younger one who will offer to help me when im in e kitchen preparin stuff:) At e age of five, its pretty hard to get a kid to help out lor.. so sweet:)

Oh, Dear oso had a cousin whose bday fall on e same day but is 10 yrs younger so they celebrated tgt.. haha, its e 1st time i actually see my Dear celebrating his bday wif a cake..(he finds it pretty redundant but,its his fav fruit, mango! So he stil did eat some of e cake la:)

Dear's bro took some photos but not wif e digital cam...so cant post it..but i did haf a few taken wif mine so will post dem other time..

I basically din drink much cos i was playing mj but Dear drink a lot until he was 'high'. Every1 was havin fun dat nite..it was really a very endearing moment when we took a group photo tgt! My maternal side nt very close knitted so im kinda envious:) anyways, had a blast thou i lost $$ for mj but stil recoup back losses e next day:)

Oh My God!!

OMG.. I saw Paul Twohill while buying Mac, and seriously, i was more in shock than surprised!! By his eyeliner eyes, yikes!!

I was actually queuing up at lane beside him when i find his back view damn familiar.. Jus when i was wondering, he flipped his hair (quality better than mine) and den, i saw those eyes.. i was really shocked n immediately damned awake.. I was kinda sleepy at dat time.. But the classic moment was when the cashier boy asked him: "Are u Paul Twohill from Spore idol?" I forgot the actual words but its somewhere along dat line..

Is the cashier blind or wat? Its so obvious rite?? Anyway, this random event of e day certainly "brightens" up my day, haahaa...:)

A fruitful day.. for me la:)

I woke at abt 9 plus on Vesak Day.. so early.. ok, i tink if anyone is reading this. u will tink im siao!! No la, im not working but today i wanna haf breakfast can or not? Haha.. n i was hoping to go town cos its been a while since i really shop..

Found out that e food fest is over, sadzz tot dat i cld go wif my boy since he's free. In e end, we went 2 the bk fair wic my boy was thankful cos its nt as far as gg to expo.. Duh.. he can travel to aljunied to meet fren but neva complain.. piew!

But i managed to buy comics there at a cheaper price..hehe.. had fun readin stuff there.. saw my boy's bro n cousins there too after they watched POTC (Pirates...)
Made a mental check to watch e sequel.. i actually din realise the movie is screening until 2 days ago! Blur me..

Oh, I got a LBD at mphosis b4 gg to e book fair .. so damn happy cos my fren told me they having sale.. so my dress costs less than $20 and its really nice!! and i finally went to collect my Precous Moment figurine at Marina Sq...it took me a mth b4 my lazy butt got to move n go down n collect.. its so lovely, i tink it limited edition :) My boy tinks im crazy to buy dat at $60 but i told him its e membership fee n since he wont get me a PM figurine.. i buy myself la!!

Well, i still appreciate his effort in accompanying me cos he hates shopping( technically i was in e mphosis store for less than 10 min, he mus be really thankful). Thks dear!!

Reality sinks in...

I woke up damn early today.. i acc him downstairs when my boy was on his way to work..

it was supposed to be a happy moment for him as he found a new objective in life: a job which he really wanted.. Jus as he was starting on a brand new journey, it happened.. Someone close to him had left him...

So unexpected that it sank in only after a while, n u find it hard not to believe the transience of life.. One tries to laugh it off but deep inside, the feeling is of devoid of hope n happiness..

5th Anninversary on 16.05.2007 !!

It was supposed to be jus the two of us, me and BF. But lil isacc called, saying he wanted to pop by my BF hse so he came came along wif his father..

In the end, we spent our dinner wif father n son at Vivocity's Food Republic (wat happen to our supposedly nice n romantic dinner at a restaurant?)But thank god the food's nt too bad but it's still expensive by food court standard. $5 for a bloody horfun. A plate of siew mai, har gao n char siew bao cost $8.50!Duh!!

After watching the lil one play water for a while n some photo taking, we bade farewell to father n son.. then it's off to our main destination: St. James Power Station!!

Cant't believe we spent close to 30 mins jus to find the link bridge to the place..
Hmmph... by e time we rch there, my leg was really aching from all e walking lor..

But we got lucky, we went to one of e pub/lounge(nt sure wat u call them) called Mozubar(duno spelling rite or not?) We realised we r still in time for the 1 for 1 special b4 9pm. So i order lychee martini n it was reali nice. The lychee juice n the rum was mixed just nice for my taste. My boy ordered heineken n later decided to order a lychee martini after he tasting my martini:)

We lingered for abt an hr and left cos the live jazz band oso left. And damn, i ordered 'Sexyback' but they din play the song..sadzzz.. den we end the day by having Carl's Junior.. i lurve their burgers..yummy!! Happy times always end fast n dats how we end the special day of ours:)

A New Beginning

Well, life now is different thou i do kinda miss the old days.. i do feel nostalgic at times.. but it's pretty interesting dat u dunno wat exactly lies ahead :)
